Job Summary
Dispatcher to coordinate and schedule drivers, freight deliveries, pickups, and shipments; communicate with customers and vendors regarding shipment details, scheduling, and special requests; monitor traffic conditions and route changes to ensure timely deliveries; maintain dispatch documentation and logs; track routes and timelines; support fleet operations with maintenance scheduling and vendor feedback; respond to inbound calls from drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues in real time; working in a collaborative, inclusive environment in Elizabeth, NJ with a Monday–Friday shift 11:00 AM–7:30 PM; compensation $25.00–$26.50 per hour.
