Job Summary
Handle a large volume of incoming calls to address customer inquiries efficiently, dispatch drivers to new calls using real-time data on locations and loads, and assign routes and service tickets throughout the day. Document customer interactions accurately, perform account maintenance, and initiate outbound calls to resolve pick-up and service issues while drivers are on-site. Troubleshoot problems before they escalate and coordinate driver movement to ensure same-day service on missed pick-ups. Close service tickets daily and maintain professional communication with drivers and customers. This role supports Aspen Waste Systems' Minnesota hauling operation, balancing cost and speed of response for residential, commercial, and roll-off lines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Excellent telephone skills
- Proficient in the use of a PC
- Ability to recognize problems and resolve them successfully
- Ability to multi-task with conflicting requirements and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to think independently and handle customer inquiries efficiently and professionally
- A knack for learning quickly on the job
