Job Summary
Answer incoming calls and use dispatch software to assign trucks to customers while documenting conversations and troubleshooting roadside issues. Assess safety of situations, ensure timely and accurate dispatch help, and enter all call information, notes, pricing, and customer data correctly. Provide exceptional customer service to both customers and drivers. This role requires 11am to 7:30pm Monday through Friday coverage with no supervisory duties. Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, and have at least one year of customer service and dispatching experience. Must reside near the assigned area and pass a background screening including criminal history, motor vehicle records, social security, and drug and alcohol testing.
Required Qualifications
- Must reside near assigned area
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must pass a background screening including a criminal background check
- Must pass a review of motor vehicle records
- Must pass a social security screening
- Must pass a drug and alcohol test
Desired Qualifications
- 1 Year experience in customer service preferred
- 1 year experience with dispatching preferred
- Extremely organized and detailed oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dispatch Software experience preferred
