Job Summary
Answer incoming calls for Mechanical Services requests, schedule service appointments, and dispatch emergency and non-emergency customer requests during regular business hours. Communicate professionally with customers, technicians, and service managers to resolve issues, diffuse escalations, and provide timely feedback to supervisors. Maintain customer records by immediately updating account information and execute the dispatch strategy for each department. Work across multiple platforms simultaneously while managing three monitors and phone systems under pressure. Requires Monday-Friday 9am-6pm schedule, 1 year of dispatching and call center experience, 30 WPM typing speed, and a valid driver's license issued at least five years prior.
Required Qualifications
- 1 Yr Experience in dispatching, route planning, scheduling
- call center experience
- Must be able to type at least 30 WPM
- proficient in 10-key
- use a phone system
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate well, using excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to adapt quickly in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
- High proficiency with emailing, instant messaging, and various electronic devices and applications for effective communication/information sharing
- Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure while maintaining composure, and occasionally diffuse escalations
- Excellent written communication skills, including spelling and punctuation
- Ability to work across multiple platforms simultaneously while managing three monitors and phone systems
- Excellent team player with commitment to company values
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
