Job Summary
Schedule and dispatch equipment, haulers, materials, and delivery personnel to construction sites while confirming address, materials, and stocking conditions before trucks leave the yard. Optimize routing efficiency and maximize productivity by communicating with internal teams, sales, and management regarding logistical updates. Instruct drivers on customer service issues and report concerns directly to the Director of Operations. Maintain dispatch operations to meet or exceed compliance targets, read maps quickly for directions, and perform accurate math calculations. Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company policies while utilizing strong computer and data entry skills. Requires a valid driver's license, criminal and MVR background checks, and drug-free workplace compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in a related industry
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver's License
- Compliance with motor vehicle, criminal background checks, and drug-free workplace policies
