Job Summary
The Dispatcher Coordinator will maintain technicians' daily schedules, dispatch service calls, and schedule return visits when parts are in. Responsible for communicating schedules and lead times to managers, employees, and customers, and for providing billing information related to maintenance contracts and service invoices. Responsibilities include receiving customer service calls, coordinating all service calls, setting daily delivery and parts delivery schedules, debriefing technicians after calls, forecasting workload for 2–3 days, adapting to forklift breakdowns, processing work orders and purchase orders, collaborating with sales/operations to locate equipment, locating/secure equipment for rental swaps, monitoring the service board, tracking technician status via text or phone, coordinating with vendors for repairs, and backing up other dispatch/shop roles. Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED (required), an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not required), and 1–3 years of dispatching/logistics experience; familiarity with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and scheduling tools is beneficial. Location is Waipahu, HI, US, with on-site work.
