Job Summary
Assign and dispatch resources to job sites while monitoring progress and ensuring operational efficiency. Maintain constant communication with field personnel and clients to provide updates and instructions. Optimize schedules for dispatchers and ops teams to achieve the best coverage and response times. Identify and resolve challenges that arise during dispatch operations. Suggest and implement improvements to operational processes for better efficiency. Requires high school diploma, Microsoft Office proficiency, and 1 to 5 years of dispatch experience, including Port of Houston and Port Terminal access. Full-time role with flexible scheduling including weekends; offers medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of working effectively with a diverse team and managing multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and focus on delivering quality service
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
