Job Summary
Supervises bulk loading operations at the Kalaeloa Terminal to ensure on time delivery rate goals; coordinates dispatch operations, ensures daily equipment maintenance checks, oversees DOT compliance and safety, manages cement inventory and ship-reconciliation, trains and hires dispatchers, and leads process improvements (Lean Six Sigma) while maintaining customer relations and meeting division efficiency goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2 years dispatching experience or knowledge of the cement/construction or trucking business
- Valid Hawaii State Driver’s License, Class 3 or higher
- Acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of basic computer skills to include MS Office programs
- Must submit and pass a drug screening and security background check. Obtain a TWIC security card.
- 1 year mechanical experience
- Associates degree
- JD Edwards expertise
- 2 years supervisor experience
- Lean Six Sigma “Green Belt” Certified
