Job Summary
Dispatch Supervisor role responsible for developing a high-performing dispatch team to address daily operational challenges, ensure excellent service for customers and internal stakeholders, and drive cost-effective service delivery. Lead cross-functional teams, apply LEAN principles, provide coaching, performance reviews, and succession planning; mentor staff; train for skill expansion; resolve driver/broker issues promptly; oversee system reviews with Central/Terminal Dispatch; maintain strong relationships with colleagues and customers; support on-time delivery while accommodating evening, weekend, and holiday schedules.
