Job Summary
Dispatch Specialist handles day-to-day service issues within an operation (e.g., on-call Air pickups, heavy pick-up accounts, unforeseen events) and coordinates the needs and efforts of the operation to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. The role dispatches delivery and pick-up events, balances workload among service providers, reviews data, resolves customer concerns, and supports safety and compliance within the operation. Must have a reliable vehicle to travel between locations as needed. Strong verbal and written English communication and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook are essential. The position is part-time (minimum 25 hours/week) with Monday–Friday shifts (8:30 AM–1:30 PM) at 410 Mount Edward Road, Charlottetown, PE Canada.
