Job Summary
Monitor and respond to all incoming radio and telephone transmissions, directing security personnel and coordinating with local law enforcement during emergencies. Maintain constant surveillance of monitored areas via CCTV, identifying irregularities and criminal activity while reviewing video recordings to isolate incidents. Dispatch appropriate security staff, contact emergency services as needed, and report all suspicious activities to supervisors. Record daily dispatch activity logs, manage surveillance equipment inventory, and provide information to Security and Agua Caliente Gaming Commission personnel. Ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, cash, and physical assets throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR, AED and First Aid Certificate
- Must be able to write clear and concise reports
- Must be able to communicate without significant impediment or accent in English
- Must have experience in radio, telephone communications and dispatch
- Must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties
- Must be able to walk up to 1 mile
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to sit at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift
- Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment
- Must be able to work in a lighting subdued environment for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weather
- Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs on an intermittent basis
- Must have sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone
