Job Summary
The Dispatch Manager will oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of concrete while maintaining effective communication between customers, drivers, and plant personnel. Responsibilities include mentoring dispatch personnel, coordinating with plant managers and sales teams, monitoring workloads and delivery schedules, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership experience in dispatch or logistics, strong organizational and communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset, with proficiency in dispatch-related systems.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dispatch-related systems
