Job Summary
As a Wheelchair Dispatcher, you will coordinate and communicate with the wheelchair services team, assign and dispatch attendants using a two-way radio, monitor passenger pick-ups and drop-offs, and maintain communication with airline personnel. You will be responsible for preparing daily assignment tables, tracking operations, filing reports, and handling incoming calls. The role requires strong communication skills, organization, and a passion for customer service in a high-volume setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Clear and verifiable employment history
- Valid U.S. work authorization
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Minimum typing speed of 25 WPM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Maps
- Strong phone etiquette and radio communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous dispatch experience is a plus
- Familiarity with the local metro area is helpful
