Job Summary
Dispatch Coordinator responsible for owning day-to-day dispatching, scheduling, and real-time workflow coordination of the service department. Focus on assigning repair orders, balancing technician capacity, reducing downtime, and ensuring jobs move through the shop efficiently. Partners with Service Manager and Operations leadership to maintain a clean board, clear priorities, and strong communication across technicians, service advisors, and management. Key objectives include optimizing technician productivity, maintaining prioritized scheduling, reducing RECT and downtime, ensuring consistent customer experience, and driving through-put. Core duties involve assigning repair orders based on skill and availability, monitoring progress, rebalancing workloads, ensuring clarity and readiness of orders, coordinating with service staff, identifying bottlenecks, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining an accurate, prioritized dispatch board to support timely service delivery and high NPS. Must be able to work Saturdays, have strong organizational and communication skills, and be comfortable with data-driven process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in dispatching, scheduling, or service workflow coordination
- Experience working directly with technicians in a service or repair environment
- Familiarity with technician productivity, efficiency, and cycle time metrics
- Proficiency with dispatching, scheduling, or service management software
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed
- RV or automotive service experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
