Job Summary
Plan and publish daily and monthly light-duty routes for field service equipment technicians using last-mile routing software. Assist with nightly heavy-duty asset route planning when required. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities to drive continuous process improvements. Utilize lean tools such as VSM, Kaizen, and A3 to assess business opportunities. Manage stress in a fast-paced environment while adhering to high safety standards and ethical codes. Work three to four days per week in an office setting with occasional weekend availability and potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ Years of experience with last mile delivery software
- 3 years of experience in route planning
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Must be available to work some weekends
- Overtime may be required
- Ability to manage stress, build professional and collaborative relationships and reason through complex business situations is essential
- Adhering to the Code of Business Ethics is essential
- Must maintain high safety standards
Desired Qualifications
- 4 year college degree
- Roadnet routing software
- Strong analytical skills
- Problem solving skills are critical in identifying and investigating routing issues under customer, fleet and labor optimization
