Dismantle Technician

Job Summary
Perform dismantle operations on commercial aircraft such as 757, 767, 777, and others to remove components, subassemblies, and assemblies. Clean removed parts to ensure proper identification, read technical drawings, and complete required paperwork for all removed components. Utilize heavy equipment including forklifts and boom lifts to facilitate dismantlement and assist with aircraft movement on the property. Work independently with strong attention to detail while coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and members at all organizational levels. Requires 1-2 years of mechanical maintenance experience and knowledge of ATA chapters.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience, training, and demonstrated performance in mechanical maintenance (aircraft, automotive, or related)
- Have a thorough working knowledge of ATA chapters and codes
- Have experience reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals
- Have certification or continuing education in an aviation maintenance field
- Are familiar with Slack, Quantum ERP, and ADP Workforce Management HRM system
- Have great relationships with vendors already in place
- You have a high-energy personality and desire to learn quickly
- You possess excellent communication skills
- You have a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Your ability to remember and follow detailed instructions, but work independently, is excellent
- You love mechanical systems and have some experience working with mechanical tools professionally or as a hobby
- You have strong proficiency, both verbal and written, with the English language
