Job Summary
Dishwasher at Vandelay Hospitality Group responsible for cleaning dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment; maintain clean dish room and organize supplies; assist with unloading deliveries; clean and mop floors; report food safety issues; support kitchen staff and close down the dish area at night; ensure dining room, patio, and bathrooms are clean; work with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in the hospitality industry within back of house restaurant areas
- Good organizational skills
- Team work and time management skills
- Standard knowledge of the main kitchen operating procedures
- Knowledge of current basic regulations and of the main safety standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which included, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
