Job Summary
Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dish room. Clean and care for kitchen machines and appliances, support kitchen readiness by cleaning cook stations, and assist with receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries. Sweep and mop floors, remove trash, and execute end-of-night closing duties including dish machine shutdown. Report kitchen accidents, equipment issues, or food safety concerns to leadership promptly. This role requires food handler certification, ability to lift 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. D.L. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong work ethic with a reliable, positive attitude and willingness to support the team
- Good organizational skills with strong time-management and the ability to stay efficient in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to follow standard kitchen operating procedures, cleaning techniques, and equipment guidelines
- Knowledge of basic safety standards and a commitment to complying with all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workspace
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist with additional tasks across the kitchen when needed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food handler certification as required by state and local agencies
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
