Job Summary
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and flatware to ensure availability. Prepare dining areas and kitchen stations for the next shift by cleaning and restocking. Clean kitchen appliances including coffee makers and mixers. Unload and store deliveries. Sweep and mop floors, particularly when items are broken or spilled. Remove trash and rinse garbage cans. Assist other staff members with additional tasks as needed. This role requires continuous standing or walking for 8-hour shifts and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Compliance with all food safety procedures is mandatory. Great Western Dining at Northern Oklahoma College - Tonkawa values creativity, innovation, and collaboration within its diverse team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimal work experience
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
- Continuous standing/walking and other means of mobility up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull and frequently lift/move up to 30 pounds
