Job Summary
Dishwasher/Utility Associate position at AgeWell Solvere Living performing food service duties in a community kitchen. Responsibilities include washing dishes, pots and pans, kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitary conditions, assisting with food preparation, inventory, and stocking shelves, handling garbage, operating appliances (garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker, ice machine), following safety procedures, reporting injuries, and communicating with staff. Requires high school diploma or GED (preferred), basic knife skills, ability to lift 40-50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and willingness to work weekends/holidays; may require background/drug tests and potential photo/video releases.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred/GED accepted
- Some kitchen experience desirable
- Basic knife skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Physically able to bend and reach
- Physically able to push and pull and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary
- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
- May be required to work weekends and holidays as assigned
- May be subject to background, criminal, and drug tests may be required
- May have their picture taken and image used in social media or community advertising
- May be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents’ apartments
