Job Summary
Dishwasher responsible for operating dishwashing and sanitation and to maintain the sanitation standards of the kitchen. Essential duties include setting up the dish machine, ensuring correct chemicals are used, reporting machinery or chemical issues, washing and sanitizing china, glassware, and utensils at proper temperatures, monitoring dish machine temperatures, assisting with floor and station cleaning, following daily sanitation schedules, ensuring safe food handling, and reporting safety or sanitation concerns to a supervisor. All employees must pass background checks as required by a licensed residential care facility; vaccination status may be inquired for some roles.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Background check and safety requirements
- Ability to work in a senior living facility environment
- Ability to perform sanitation and cleaning duties
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and employment references
- Willingness to follow daily sanitation and cleaning schedules
