Job Summary
Dishwasher role at TGI Fridays focused on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of utensils, dishware, glassware, and kitchen items according to Ecosure standards. Duties include sanitizing dishes and cookware, keeping service area and kitchen clean, completing assigned prep work, troubleshooting the dishwasher machine, and communicating issues to supervision. Emphasizes teamwork, guest experience, cleanliness, timely task execution, and adherence to safety and sanitation procedures in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Demonstrates a strong service attitude, reliability, and the ability to operate in a hot, damp environment while lifting heavy items and maintaining professionalism to uphold the brand image.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to perform multitask while maintaining required standards of operation
- Must also be able to perform duties that ensure Guest safety and satisfaction
- Must follow handling and sanitation procedures and use extreme caution with utensils, plate ware, glassware, and equipment
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 70 lbs., up to 20 times per shift, and place these items on high shelves and in walk-in freezers
- Must be able to frequently bend and stoop
- Must be able to work frequently in a hot and damp environment
- Must be able to speak clearly to communicate orders to cooks and expediters
- Must be able to hear cooks’ and W/Ws' requests in the midst of loud background noise
- Must be able to stack, walk and move during an entire shift
- Must be able to frequently immerse hands in hot water
