Job Summary
Maintain highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the dish room, pot room, and kitchen areas by scraping, spraying, and sanitizing all ware before loading machines. Rack china and glassware according to standards, ensuring all items are clean and properly stored in designated areas. Operate and clean kitchen machinery safely, perform preventative maintenance, and sweep floors to keep them dry and free of spills. Assist with loading and unloading equipment, move furniture as directed, and handle trash removal. Comply with all safety, health, and liquor laws while reporting equipment failures or hazards immediately to management. Complete nightly, weekly, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid Driver's License
- 18+ years of age
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
- Proper lifting techniques
- Guest relations
- Sanitation and safety
- Full service kitchen operations
- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients
- Ability to walk long periods of time
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to repeat the same movements for long periods of time
- Ability to understand the speech of another person
- Ability to speak clearly so listeners can understand
- Ability to push and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holidays
