Job Summary
Load, run, and unload the dish machine while monitoring water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycles. Wash, store, and bag tableware and kitchenware, maintaining adequate clean levels for dining and kitchen use. Keep the dish room clean and organized, reporting any mechanical problems immediately. Clean food preparation and production areas as required and maintain proper detergent levels per SDS. Bag and haul dish room trash to the dumpster at designated times. Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations as directed by the manager or chef. Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Basic food preparation knowledge preferred
- Previous experience in food preparation preferred but not required
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, catering business or hotel kitchen highly desirable
- High School diploma or GED preferred
