Job Summary
Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition by washing and storing all dishes, equipment, and linings. Sweep, mop, and wash floors while emptying trash, and clean carpets, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and dining room equipment. Assist chefs and servers with food order storage, special events, banquets, and theme meals as assigned. Communicate resident preferences to the food service director for menu planning. Adhere to cleaning schedules and quality enhancement standards. Full-time associates receive health, vision, dental, 401k, PTO, and holiday pay; part-time roles (24-29 hours) include PTO and holiday pay. Possibility for tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Able to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and/or associates
- Able to build positive and strong relationships with associates, coworkers and residents
- Focused and dedicated to provide excellent customer service
- Able to handle multiple jobs and priorities
- Finger and hand dexterity to handle and manipulate instruments and equipment
- Visual and auditory acuity
- Must be able to lift a minimum of fifteen (15) lbs., and be able to carry objects
- Must be able to push and pull carts, and continuously walk, sit and stand
- Must be able to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate
