Job Summary
Load and unload the dishwasher, sanitize dishes, cutlery, glassware, and cooking ware in designated areas. Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in cooler, and all storage areas. Stock shelves, participate in daily shipping, receiving, distribution, and inventory control over kitchen supplies, and perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef. Adhere to FOODSAFE procedures, HACCP requirements, and all Health & Safety Manual guidelines. Maintain a positive working environment, liaise with the Serving Team, and promote Moraine Lake Lodge and surrounding areas. Work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays while on-call for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task
- Basic food safe certificate
- Excellent people skills
- Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
- While performing the duties of this position, Team Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work with outside with varying weather conditions (ex. Extreme Heat, Extreme Cold, Rain, Snow)
- Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool
