Job Summary
Buss tables, wash dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, then reset dining areas and prepare kitchens for the next shift by cleaning and restocking cook stations. Clean kitchen appliances including coffee makers, mixers, and pots; unload and store deliveries; sweep and mop floors, particularly when items break or spill; and take out trash while rinsing garbage cans. Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures. Assist other restaurant staff with tasks as needed. Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of china, glass, and silver while ensuring highest sanitation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
