Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all china, glass, and silver while ensuring the highest standards of sanitation. Assist kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness of work areas by cleaning equipment, utensils, and dining spaces. Prepare dining areas and kitchen stations for the next shift by bussing tables, washing pots and pans, and resetting service areas. Clean machines and appliances, unload deliveries, sweep and mop floors, and remove trash. Report kitchen accidents or food safety code violations immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
