Job Summary
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, doughnut trays, pans, utensils, and small wares by hand and machine. Keep sinks, the dish machine, floors, and work areas clean, sanitized, and food-safe throughout the shift. Return clean wares to stations fast so bakers and baristas never wait during the rush. Empty, break down, and haul trash and recycling, and keep the back-of-house clutter-free. Support opening and closing routines and periodic deep-cleaning of hoods, shelves, equipment, and storage areas. Follow all health, sanitation, and safety standards, and handle cleaning chemicals correctly. Communicate clearly, jump in where you're needed, and help the next shift start strong.
Required Qualifications

- Pace. Ability to stay steady and quick when it's busy and the dishes are stacking up.
- Reliability. Dependable, on time, and ready for early or flexible shifts.
- Physical readiness. Comfortable standing for full shifts and lifting or moving racks, bins, and equipment, often wet.
- Standards. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation (or willingness to get certified).
