Job Summary
Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware, and foodservice equipment while ensuring all cleaned items meet service standards. Set up and clean the dish machine area, checking temperatures and soap dispensing levels. Assist cooking and servicing staff by cleaning the general kitchen, food preparation, and service areas. Pour beverages per resident choice as they are seated, serve meals in courses, remove soiled dishes, and bus tables. Change table linens and reset tables following meal service. Deliver food from preparation areas to residents, providing beverages, refills, condiments, and other requested items. Maintain a home-like environment supporting resident dignity, privacy, and independence.
Required Qualifications
- Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations.
- Food Handler's card where required.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
