Job Summary
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand, ensuring all items are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops, while regularly removing trash. Handle and maintain dishwashing equipment, replenish cleaning supplies, and properly sort and organize clean dishes for kitchen efficiency. Assist in receiving deliveries and cross-train across various roles to support team success.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess dexterity to operate industrial dishwashing machines, handle pots/pans, and other equipment, and perform tasks with attention to detail
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
- Must be familiar with the measurement system
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to bend and reach overhead often
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar environment
