Job Summary
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial machines or by hand, ensuring all items are sanitized per health and safety regulations. Maintain the dishwashing area by cleaning floors, walls, and countertops, removing trash, and replenishing detergents, sanitizers, and towels. Properly sort clean equipment for kitchen efficiency, handle dishwashing machinery, and report malfunctions to the Kitchen Manager. Assist with receiving deliveries and storage, cross-train across restaurant roles, and perform additional assigned duties while standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess dexterity to operate industrial dishwashing machines, handle pots/pans, and other equipment, and perform tasks with attention to detail.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting.
- Must be familiar with the measurement system.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to bend and reach overhead often.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
