Job Summary
Check dishwasher machine temperatures at 140 degrees for wash cycles and 160 degrees for rinses, verifying solutions with chemical strips. Wash and sanitize pot sinks, dish tables, garbage cans, and the back dock daily, ensuring no food residue remains on clean items. Keep floors dry and clean with bleach throughout the shift, while handling dishes, glasses, and pots without stacking them wet or allowing cracks or chips. Operate machinery and complete other assignments directed by the Executive Sous Chef or Sous Chefs as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- English language skills
- Spanish language skills
- Ability to stand 100% of the time
- Ability to walk 100% of the time
- Ability to use hands/fingers to handle/feel 100% of the time
- Ability to reach with hands/arms 100% of the time
- Ability to climb or balance when necessary
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl occasionally
- Ability to talk/hear
- Ability to taste/smell 100% of the time
- Ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds
- Ability to see
- Ability to work in wet or humid conditions up to 50% of the time
- Ability to work near moving mechanical parts up to 50% of the time
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions occasionally
- Ability to handle risk of electrical shock possibly
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in place of High School diploma/GED
- Spanish language skills (preferred over English only)
