Job Summary
Load, run, and unload dish machines while monitoring water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycles. Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware, handling fine china and glassware with care to prevent breakage. Clean food preparation areas, mops kitchen floors daily, and bag kitchen trash while separating recyclables. Maintain adequate levels of detergents and cleaning supplies, and clean the employee dining room buffet twice daily. Coordinate activities with ware and pot washers to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Perform all tasks requested by the Manager on Duty.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds daily
- Constantly walks and stands
- Constantly reaches, bends, lifts, carries and stoops
- Frequently washes hands
- Must have a positive, upbeat, friendly attitude and enjoy providing five-start customer service
- Must be a team player who can develop strong and positive working relationships with all coworkers
