Job Summary
Ensure sanitation in all food outlets meets Health Department and OSHA guidelines, including china, glassware, silverware, trashcans, pots, and pans. Properly store equipment, chemicals, and restaurant supplies in dish, pot, kitchen, mop, and trash dock rooms. Remove trash from outlets to refuge dumpsters and restock all food line china and utensils before, during, and after restaurant hours. Clean dish sanitation equipment and maintain valid WV racing license, Food Handlers permit, and TIPS certifications. This role requires lifting up to 25 pounds and pushing fully loaded dish carts weighing over 200 pounds. You will frequently stand for long periods and work in wet, hot, humid conditions with temperatures ranging from 0 to 110 degrees. Specific vision abilities for close and distance vision are required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months' related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, MSDS sheets, operating & maintenance instructions, and Safety Manual
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to differentiate between the different patterns of china, glassware and silverware
- Maintains valid WV racing license
- Food Handlers permit
- TIPS certifications
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to push fully loaded dish carts weighing in excess of 200 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods
