Job Summary
DISHWASHER position at Pueblo of Sandia supporting all food and beverage outlets. Responsible for washing pots, pans, and utensils; maintaining cleanliness of dishwashing areas and equipment; sanitizing dishware, floors, storage racks, and related areas; refilling and handling chemicals as needed; and assisting with proper food storage and overall kitchen sanitation. Requires adherence to sanitary regulations, ability to follow instructions, attendance, and participation in daily stand-up meetings and training. Must maintain high personal hygiene, work with co-workers professionally, and be prepared for a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Includes physical duties such as lifting up to 50 lbs and various movements; background check, drug screening, and NM Food Handler certification in 30 days. Eligible candidates must be at least 18 and may have related restaurant experience or education.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
- Experience in restaurant or food service capacity.
- Must successfully complete the New Mexico Food Handlers course within 30 days of hire date.
- Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
- Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
