Job Summary
Cleans dishes, pots, glassware, and cutlery following established sanitation procedures while monitoring dish machine temperatures twice daily and reporting deficiencies. Ensures correct chemical usage, pre-soaks stained items weekly, and maintains dining room cleanliness by busing dishes between seatings, vacuuming after meals, and mopping floors. Receives and uncrates supplier deliveries, breaks down boxes for recycling, and adheres to infection control protocols and safety legislation. Performs other duties as assigned by the Dining Services Manager. Requires Grade 12 education, one year of dishwashing experience, and ability to work in fast-paced, hot, and humid conditions.
