Job Summary
Ensure back of house areas are maintained and that health and safety are top priorities by cleaning F&B back of house areas, sanitizing kitchens, and breaking down food items from banquet functions. Clean and sanitize all small wares, kitchen coolers, and discard outdated items while maintaining garbage and empty as needed. Fill out dish machine logs and adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Work seven days a week, 24 hours a day, with flexibility required for holidays and weekends. Must obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License, communicate in English (Spanish a plus), and lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate in English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License
- Flexibility in work schedule
- Physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Ability to frequently move freely about the property, withstand various activities such as frequent walking, and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction
- Ability to work different shifts, which may include holidays and weekends
- Ability to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental contaminants including smoke
- Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned
- Ability to work with others, communicate well, receive direction, and provide feedback when needed to achieve department goals and objectives
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with guests in a congenial and polite manner
- Ability to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness
- Ability to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods
- Consistent and regular attendance
- Willingness and availability to fulfill demands of a seven days a week, 24 hours a day schedule
