Job Summary
Operate dish machine equipment and wash items by hand, ensuring the highest sanitation levels for all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and glassware. Clean and sanitize back-of-house areas including floors, walls, and shelving while sorting trash, compost, and cleaning spills or breakage. Assist in staging equipment for set-up, plate-up, and food production lines as needed. Sweep, scrub, and maintain kitchen and storage areas to ensure compliance with health, safety, and employment regulations. Maintain a Food Handlers Card through ServeSafe and work flexible weekday and weekend shifts on an event-based schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends, with availability for some morning, noon, and evening shifts on an on-call/event-based schedule
- Must obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Card through ServeSafe and any other required compliance trainings
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with employees, management, and guests in a professional and respectful manner
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or related food service experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
