Job Summary
Dishwasher position responsible for washing and sanitizing all plate ware, drink ware, utensils, pots/pans, and cooking equipment; maintain a clean and organized dish room; operate an industrial dishwasher; assist prep cook and kitchen staff during peak times; load/unload deliveries; perform opening/closing and side work; ensure sanitation and safety standards are followed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card (where applicable)
- Excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- Effective communication with team members
- Ability to learn about chemicals used in the building and proper usage
- Ability to work around various temperatures in kitchen
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
- Willingness to perform opening/closing and side work
- Ability to load/unload deliveries
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
