Job Summary
Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitized dish area and washing, sanitizing, and organizing all dishware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. Duties include operating an industrial dishwasher, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, loading/unloading deliveries, performing opening/closing tasks, assisting prep cooks as needed, maintaining cleanliness of the dish room, and following proper sanitation and safety procedures. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen, communicate effectively with team members, and meet age and certification requirements. Works with kitchen staff to support service during peak times and contributes to a positive dining environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Current Food Handler’s Card where applicable
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to learn chemical safety and proper use of cleaners
- Ability to work around temperature variations in kitchen
- Ability to multi-task in team environment
