Job Summary
DISHWASHER at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery (OMB) in Charlotte, NC. Maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen by washing, drying, and properly storing dishes, pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware. Adhere to Culinary management guidelines and health department food service standards. Participate as part of the Culinary Team and support both the Culinary and Service Teams. Must be able to stand for long periods, transport up to 50 pounds, and operate a dish machine. The role offers hourly pay ($12–$16/hour) with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, free beer stipend, employee discount, and growth opportunities across both Charlotte locations. Reports to the Executive Chef and requires a pre-employment background check and E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in a high-volume food establishment
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to transport up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Understanding of proper use and maintenance of a dish machine
