Job Summary
Prepare the dish room prior to meal service and transport dishes to the kitchen after preparation. Clear, wash, and sanitize all dishes and utensils, then return clean items to appropriate storage areas. Assist with breaking down the kitchen for clean-up and perform general sanitation of the dish room, kitchen, dining areas, steam tables, range hoods, sinks, and drains. Empty trash and respond to resident concerns professionally. Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests while encouraging teamwork across departments. Full-time AM/PM shifts available including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available weekends
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Must be willing to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer six (6) months of experience working in a kitchen or similar setting
