Job Summary
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards, assist with waste disposal and recycling, and monitor dishwashing supplies to report inventory needs. Collaborate with kitchen staff during peak hours, follow company policies regarding hygiene and safety, and perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned. This role supports the smooth operation of the culinary team at MLH CINCINNATI USA LLC.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is advantageous
- Familiarity with standard kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with kitchen staff
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and practices
