Job Summary
Operate dish machines and wash, sanitize, and dry all kitchen utensils, equipment, plates, silverware, glassware, pots, and pans. Maintain a pace to prevent dish backups, return items to appropriate areas, and restock cleaning supplies when running low. Safely use tools, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and assist with general back-of-house cleanliness, restroom maintenance, and garbage emptying. Comply with all safety, sanitation, and employee handbook policies while communicating machinery issues to management. Available to work various hours, days, shifts, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- Able to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
- Ability to read a thermometer
