Job Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen, which includes washing all kitchenware such as silverware, plateware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. Key responsibilities include prioritizing washing loads, ensuring proper use of cleaning chemicals, maintaining health and safety guidelines, and reporting damaged items. The position requires good communication skills, physical stamina, flexibility for additional tasks, and adherence to safe work practices, including obtaining Safe Serve certification as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Safe Serve certification or willingness to complete the certification on property before starting work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times per day
- Good stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods
- Ability to communicate easily with others
- Agile and flexible to respond to changing priorities
- Ability to work as a part of a team
