Job Summary
Ensure all service and kitchen wares are clean and sanitized, maintaining the dish station, kitchen, and entire venue to Department of Health standards. Properly store and remove garbage and soiled linens while stocking stations with prescribed supplies. Perform opening and closing procedures, including wiping down stations, maintaining equipment, and reporting any breakage or damage immediately to management. Communicate product needs to chefs or the purchaser and participate in daily pre-service meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings. Possess in-depth knowledge of the dish machine, cleaning chemicals, and venue operations. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and move quickly.

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be effective as part of a team
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
- Previous porter and/or Dishwasher experience preferred
