Job Summary
Wash, sanitize, and stock all plates, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils while properly storing and refilling clean items in designated areas. Sweep, squeegee, and mop floors; wipe down walls, ceiling tiles, and ventilation hoods. Deep-clean high-use appliances including stoves, ovens, grills, freezers, and refrigerators as needed. Collect, sort, and remove trash, compostables, and recyclables, then break down cardboard boxes and clean designated receptacles. Organize clean inventory in storage areas and supply cooks and front-of-house staff with clean service items throughout the shift. Ensure all machinery operates properly and report malfunctions to management. This role supports the culinary team at Jonathan Club, enriching the lives of members by providing an extraordinary experience at both the Town and Beach clubhouses.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, for the entire duration of a shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible schedule, available to work mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
