Dishwasher

Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items using a dishwasher or by hand; keep dishes and equipment stocked and stored in designated areas; maintain clean and orderly kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils; stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars; inspect and clean areas of responsibility; sort and remove trash and dispose of it properly; clean garbage cans; transfer supplies between storage and work areas; assist in cleaning and preparing foods as needed; follow directions and work cooperatively in a kitchen; typically requires about two months of on-the-job training or related experience; physical duties include standing/walking 6–8 hours, bending, stooping, lifting up to 60 pounds, and working in hot/damp environments with chemicals; strong emphasis on teamwork and ability to perform tasks efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
