Job Summary
Operate the dish machine correctly, checking chemical levels, water temperature, and sanitizer concentration while recording readings. Wash, clean, and sanitize all trays, glassware, plates, mugs, utensils, and related items after each meal. Empty and properly dispose of garbage throughout the day, prepare beverages for the tray line, and keep coolers stocked. Deliver residents' or patients' trays to designated stations and maintain clean floors by mopping the dietary department daily. Store all food and supplies correctly using FIFO, label and date items prior to storage, and assist other Dietary Department team members. Complete assigned daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks while maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary service
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within given instructions, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions
- High school diploma or GED
